choosing interior finishes

I hear it time and time again– home owners/buyers who are terrified of pulling the trigger on the finishing touches.  Why?  Because if you change your mind or it looks awful, it’s darn expensive to change it, that’s why.

Today I’m continuing the home building series, Virtual Dream House, with the community of Lake Village in Daybreak and Rainey Homes by getting to the heart of the problems first time home builders face, and how to remedy it.  If you’re building a home, or thinking of building, this series is for you (Part 1, and Part 2, just to catch you up).

And again, thank you to Daybreak and Rainey!  That Justin Taylor really knows his stuff.  You know what I love most about him?  He started in the business as a finish carpenter by trade.    Like he’s an expert craftsman.  Now that’s someone you want behind building your home.

Next week in this series is the big reveal!  I’m sharing all of my selections for my virtual dream house.  It’s a design I’ve LOVED putting together!  And virtually, I will be moving in… sadly, only in my mind.  Sigh.  Also, don’t forget to check out the other talented bloggers taking part in this collaboration with Daybreak:

Tomorrow it’s back to the bathroom with more from the master bath!

Is it only Wednesday?  It’s that kind of a week:)

I just used wood floor tiles for a client’s master bathroom reno and the outcome was also stunning.
