Sugar Plum Fairy Party (and winner announced!)

We took Ruby to see the Nutcracker for the first time this year to see her cousin who was dancing as s Bon Bon.  My 3-year-old ballerina was completely entranced.  She was dancing in the isles and her favorite part was the Sugar Plum Fairy.  I had been planning to hold some kind of winter party for her and some friends and knew the Nutcracker theme was a must.

I worked with Oriental Trading Company to put together the sweetest party for Ruby and her friends.  Eleven little ballerinas became Sugar Plum Fairies in training.

Here’s a little preview of the party:

  1. Wow! So incredibly cute and clever! Both of my daughters danced in Ballet West’s Nutcracker so for about five years, I went to at least five performances each Christmas! Ali, my oldest was both a red and blue soldier and Brooke, the youngest, was a little bouncing buffoon. Ruby must try out when she is about eight (that was the age when my girls were young.) It is a lovely and wonderful experience. Your party looks lovely, fun, and cute–just like everything you post!

Warmest wishes for happiness this season and throughout the year,
    Crystal
